Executive leadership
Chief Executive Officer & President
Philip LeJeune
Philip has served as LLOG’s President and Chief Executive Officer since September of 2018. During his twenty-two years at LLOG, Philip has been instrumental in guiding the company through periods of transformational growth. Over the past year, he has executed an asset swap with an International Major, sold $1.375 billion in deepwater assets, and brought online ten deepwater wells. Previously, Philip held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer and Vice President of Planning and Budgeting. Under his past leadership, LLOG executed asset sale transactions exceeding $4 billion and participated in financing transactions exceeding $3 billion. Philip additionally oversaw extensive deepwater drilling operations and the production of over 200 MMBBL from key deepwater assets. Prior to joining the company in 1997, Philip worked at Arthur Andersen, where he worked in the tax department and specialized in oil & gas taxation. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University. Philip is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
Chief Operating Officer
Eric Zimmermann
Eric Zimmermann joined LLOG in 2007 and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer. While at LLOG, Eric has served as the Company’s lead geologist in the Delta House area of Mississippi Canyon. He has also been instrumental in identifying key growth opportunities for LLOG and developing short-, medium-, and long-term strategy for execution. Prior to joining the Company, his 20-year career included work for key industry players such as BP and Dominion. Eric received his Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in Geology from Louisiana State University. He is a member of both the Texas and Louisiana Boards of Professional Geoscientists, is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London, and is a former president of the Southeastern Geophysical Society.
Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer
Philip Cossich
Phil joined LLOG in 2011 and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Before assuming his current role in September of 2018, Phil was the Vice President of Planning and Budgeting. Phil previously worked as an associate at Macquarie, where he focused on acquisitions and divestitures for upstream E&P companies. In addition, he was an analyst at Tristone Capital where he oversaw the acquisition and growth of established, profitable and cash generative companies. Phil received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
Chief Administrative Officer & Secretary
Kem Ducote
Kem has been with LLOG for twenty-seven years, having joined the company in 1992. She currently serves as the company’s Chief Administrative Officer and Secretary. Kem is responsible for cash management and investments. In addition, she oversees LLOG’s human resources, IT, and divestiture coordination. Prior to joining LLOG, Kem worked in private wealth management and corporate auditing. Kem earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of Louisiana Monroe. She is an active member of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
Senior Vice President of Engineering
Mike Vercher
Mike joined LLOG in June of 2008. Prior to his current position as Senior Vice President of Engineering, Mike served as the Vice President of Deepwater Projects. In addition, he worked as the lead project engineer at the Delta House project which was previously owned and operated by LLOG. Before joining the company, Mike served as General Manager of Deepwater Projects for Dominion Exploration & Production Company. While at Dominion, Mike aided in the development of several highly successful deepwater projects in the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, he also helped to coordinate offshore developments for ExxonMobil. Over his nearly forty-year career, Mike has also held engineering positions in the areas of reservoir production and development, facilities construction, drilling and completions. Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1982.
